JORDAN AVIATION was founded in 1998 as a privately owned Jordanian Airline headquartered in Amman, by the ambitious and determined entrepreneur, Captain Mohammed Al-Khashman. Captain Khashman’s vision was realized in October 2000 when JAV (as it was known then) obtained its Air Operator Certificate (AOC) and commenced operation in October 2000. This vision was developed further when JAV became a member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and the Arab Air Carriers Organization (AACO).
